Main Street Recovery Credit Program

Small Businesses: Apply today for monthly bill credit as part of FPL’s Main Street Recovery Credit Program

FPL is committed to supporting all of our customers during the COVID-19 pandemic while doing our part to rebuild our economy and move Florida forward. That’s why we launched our FPL Main Street Recovery Credit Program to help boost small businesses.

Eligible establishments

•  Non-demand commercial account
  • To determine if you have a non-demand or demand commercial account, please see the new charges section of your bill

• New small businesses
  • Starting service on or after December 1, 2020
• Small businesses that were inactive for at least 6 months
  • Existing accounts with 0 kWh usage for at least 6 consecutive months after March 2020
• Existing small businesses operating in communities designated as federal Opportunity Zones
  • Please note, in addition to the categories, your specific account rate(s) will be evaluated as not all business rates will qualify for the program

Program benefits

• Support the operation and development of small business customers
• Receive a monthly 10% credit based on the prior month’s energy charge portion of bill for the duration of the program

How to apply and what to expect

• Fill out the application below
  • If applying for multiple accounts, please submit a separate application for each account
• FPL will send an email confirming approval or denial
  • If an application is submitted before the end of a business’s first billing cycle, they will be notified after that date
• FPL will begin issuing bill credits to eligible small business customers on the next billing cycle after approval
• The program is planned to run through December 2021
