Drone Teams

FPL is excited to help bring the spirit of innovation to schools across Florida through the Drones in School program. We are funding 100 new teams in the FPL/Gulf Power service area for the 2021-22 school year. Drones in School brings the excitement of drone racing to the classroom or after-school programs with hands-on experiences. Drones in School utilizes small-scale drone technology, allowing students to develop technical skills through a process that is safe and scalable for the classroom environment. This free program is available for all schools (public, private, charter, home-school) on a first-come, first-served basis for grades 6-12.
