Your electric vehicle needs to be charged regularly to maximize its range and you can use any of these chargers:
- Level 1: Any connector you have at home. No installation or additional charging equipment required.
- Level 2: Requires special charging equipment. These are usually found in workplaces and public charging stations.
- DC Fast Chargers: Require highly specialized equipment. These can be found at special charging stations along highway corridors.

- Are you able to charge your vehicle at your place of residence? Most EVs can charge on a standard 120-volt outlet, however, the charge from the standard outlet is slow. You can also have a 240 –volt Level 2 charging station installed, which will charge your vehicle much faster. If you live in a multi-unit dwelling (e.g. apartment, townhome, condo, etc.), it’s important to understand the charging capabilities of the building.
